Materials: *** makes 1 set of NOEL Candle Holders*** |
Drill hole 3/4" deep in the top center of each block. Sand rough edges. Paint each block with two coats of white paint. Let paint dry between coats.
Trace each letter to the blocks (N - for 1st block and so on..) Using the graphite paper and pencil. Or if you are good at freehand you may do that. Stencils are also a good idea. Paint all the letters with the red paint & medium brush- let dry. If not using optional materials: Paint small dots all around the edges of the lettered side of the blocks.
Using optional materials: glue string beads evenly around the edges of the lettered side of each block, and the holly leaf to the (A) upper left front corner (lettered side) on to the top front to hide where the candle is placed into the holder. ( I do both)
Varnish twice, allow to dry between coats.
Place your candles into the holes while pressing firmly on the base.
These are available for purchase from Personality Creations
Currently we have 3 styles; NOEL, PEACE & JOY
{ Does not include candles }
This tree skirt measures 39" in dia.
You may use any fabric that you like (this is what I use) ,for a "country look" use Christmas calicos and the like. Plaids do not workout well.
